Summary
After being betrayed and meeting a tragic end, the gentle Daisy is granted a second chance at life and vows never to trust love again. Burdened by her father’s gambling debt, she faces an impossible choice—spend 60 years repaying it, or enter a three-year contract marriage with Kilian, a feared aristocrat who must marry to inherit the title of duke.
Though Daisy has sworn off men, the offer promises financial security and a guaranteed divorce at the end of the contract. As the boundaries between business and emotion begin to blur, Daisy must decide whether trusting Kilian is another fatal mistake—or the key to reclaiming her freedom and future.
